I live in the beautiful village of Hilton, nestled in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands of South Africa. Surrounded by the Drakensberg mountains, tranquil forests, and peaceful dams, nature is my breathing space — whether I’m hiking, running through the trees, or pottering in my garden. It’s in these quiet, grounding moments that I find inspiration to paint.
Art has always been my passion — a space for healing, self-expression, and stillness. I’m a self-taught artist, having spent years exploring different styles, techniques, and mediums. From flinging paint across canvas in joyful chaos to delicately sketching the fine details of a lion’s mane, I’ve let each moment shape my creative journey.
In 2021, I began taking commissions for pet and people portraits — a new and exciting chapter that stretched my skills and sparked a deep love for capturing personality and emotion, especially in our furry companions. More recently, I’ve added murals to my portfolio, turning the walls of my own home (and now my clients’) into bold, personal canvases filled with joy and meaning.
